Morgann Barbara Pernot

Morgann Barbara Pernot is a researcher and doctoral student in sociology and anthropology at Iris – EHESS (Paris). Her work focuses on Yemeni women’s migration to Djibouti and the Horn of Africa and has involved six months of fieldwork in Djibouti. She is a fellow of the French Collaborative Institute on Migration (CI Migration) and the French Center for Ethiopian and Horn of Africa Studies (CFEE). She holds master’s degrees in political science and sociology of the Middle East from Sciences Po and has studied Arabic in Egypt and Jordan.
